With views across the museum and landscaped grounds, a fully licensed bar, integrated audio visual capabilities and easy access from the main entrance, the foyer enhances the guest experience and provides the perfect setting for both standalone functions and events held alongside our other venue spaces.

Create a memorable first impression by welcoming guests with refreshments as they arrive. Our exclusive catering partner can provide everything from arrival drinks and canapés to grazing platters and cocktail-style catering, tailored to suit your event.

The foyer's fully licensed bar is a popular feature for theatre performances, networking events and private functions, with our friendly bar team serving a range of beverages before events, during intervals and throughout the evening.

For theatre performances and selected events, the adjoining Southward Shop can also open to offer barista-made coffee, specialty drinks, light refreshments and sweet treats before the show and during the interval, giving guests even more opportunities to relax and enjoy the experience.
